"When we arrived back at the Iowa camp, a violinist called Dixon had just taken his spot on the platform. We weren’t entirely sure what to expect, our friends had been bragging up his performance so we were eager to see what it was all about. Dixon had an electric violin and a series of complicated look sound effects machines that he used his feet to cue.  He plays, records it, loops it and then plays over it. After just a few moments, it sounds as if you’re listening to an entire orchestra. Sitting with the love of my life on the hay covered floor of the dome, amidst all the new beautiful people that I felt so drawn to, with the sound of Dixon’s beautiful music hypnotizing my soul, I evolved as a human being. When I closed my eyes, I could see to the very core of my essence. In the center of my vision there was a single white vertical line and fluctuating, prismatic light rays that were composed of blinking eyes poured forth from either side of it. At that moment in time, I was perfectly centered; the angelic notes embraced my soul and pulled me into a world of blissful emotion.  I became the music, it came from inside me and everywhere around me simultaneously. I’ve never felt such positive energy.I remember randomly thinking that our combined energies could create world peace, make the blind see or even cure cancer. I would momentarily come out of my meditation to look at all the people around me. Some were crying like I was,  others were holding each other and swaying and everyone, everyone was completely in awe. The love in the air became it’s own tangible presence, it whirled above our heads and set the room aglow. Everything about the moment was so beautiful that it hurt and I felt as though I might burst into a billion rays of light. It was one of the most beautiful moments  I have ever experienced. When he finished playing, my soul vibrated back into my body and everyone rose to give him a tremendous applause. Dixon touched many hearts that evening, as I’m sure he does everywhere he goes. It felt so good to hug him and thank him for his music. There is no way for me to convey to him in words just how deeply his music effected me. My soul experienced true healing in the presence of his art and for that I will be eternally grateful."
